“I think the tours are great. I do think maybe the Munich day should have been in the middle of the week to give everyone some rest. it was alot to do back to back 10-11 hours. But they were all very knowledgeable and loved the tours”

“I really enjoyed the tour and the mix of different activities on different days. I don’t know if there are better hotels in Lisbon, but I did not love the 3K Madrid in Lisbon. The rooms were tiny, but more importantly it was very dated looking and the AC did not work very well.”

“Overall it was a great tour and we got to see a lot of places and learn history of the areas visited. The transportation to the different locations was good and pretty much on time each day. Because there was a separate guide each day the total number of people each day varied and because of the number of people to was hard to hear the guides at times. I think the tour could have been broken up differently as there was a lot of walking involved. I think it would have been better to have the first 2 days broken up between the other days. So you would have a little more time to recover from the previous days tour. So maybe put them in days 3 and 5, because these days were only half day or less in length. As far as our hotel stay the hotel (Leonardo City Center) itself was really nice, but we were disappointed in the continental breakfast we had each day. The food was lukewarm to cold and the variety was a little weird. But the staff was friendly and helpful with any of our needs. So overall I gave the tour 5 Stars and thank the STM Staff and the Tour Guides for a wonderful experience.”

“Our 8 person small group tour was changed just a week before our flight to Lisbon. The replacement tour excluded Batalha due to operational issues. While we understood the change, we were disappointed that the time allocated in Fátima our preferred site was very limited. The tour was conducted on a larger bus, and too much time was spent on lunch and shopping. A smaller private tour would have been more suitable, and we’ll keep that in mind for future trips. Our accommodation at Lis Apartment was clean and we appreciated that they stored our luggage when we arrived before check in. However, the drawback was the steep incline from the main street which was about 40 meters and difficult to reach by car. The front of property photo on the website is also misleading, so more transparency would help guests make informed decisions. Additionally, the one bedroom apartment did not have air conditioning in the bedroom, only a fan. The living room had air conditioning, and although the bedroom stayed cool, this should be clearly stated on their website. We understand STM aimed to find a central location for us, but choosing accommodations that are easier for travelers to access would be appreciated. Despite being “central,” we still needed to commute by Uber to most locations.”

“Same as above. Johann the guide was fantastic. Very accomodating and easy to understand. Trip to Holland not as beneficial. Was difficult wandering around for 4 hours without a guide. Would have been better to had a walking guide. We felt like we didnt see the things on our map. We are going back to do our own trip. Guide talked fast and not as clear as Johann”
